Promotional Music Video – Carousel

At the end of 2010, two Filmatography members made their way across Southern England to Dover to catch the evening EuroTunnel to France. With a brief stopover in Paris, they headed towards the 360 sunny days a year city of Montpellier. Despite the journey being the longest drive to date to get to for a shoot, it was by far the shortest filming time, with only 3 hours of night time filming available. Needless to say a lot of storyboard building and planning was required beforehand. The concept was to capture the essence of the Carousel, (the title of the song) symbolising the unity of Phamie’s music with the world. They worked with a French production team who helped to shut down the main square and put up the much needed barrier fences with their own, private bouncers. The Gary Pons piano worth £200,000 is said to be used by Prince in his next concert. The talented Phamie Gow is tipped by Classic FM to be the UK’s ‘rising star.’
